This pretty much sums up me at the minute!
Any one who knows me knows that I am not the best at dealing with big changes. I tend to ill prepare myself for a change until it's crept right up on me and then I blink and all of a sudden my surroundings, or habits, or routine, or people have changed around me.
Perhaps it's something you grow out of or perhaps it's just how I am, but alas, with my masters degree coming to an end and with that four years in my university city of Canterbury - things are a-changing.
This time, however, I will be more prepared. With a prospective move to London in September it's always key to focus on the positives - not what I'll be losing but what I'll be gaining. I'll get to galavant around London - yay! I'll get to read all sorts of books from all sorts of genres for the first time in AGES - yay! I'll get to visit home and lovely Norfolk more often - yay! I'll get to meet new people and (hopefully) enjoy a new job - double yay!
It's going to be a big change, and whilst I would like to cat nap the immediate time away (no doubt there will be lots of that too) - it's time for embracing the unknown and being excited for new opportunities.
Until the next adventure...
