Five Happy Things This Week // 10

| 1. Finally getting inside Daunt Books on Marylebone Street after seeing it on far too many Buzzfeed posts and Pinterest boards. That is a happy thing in itself, but (nerd alert sounding right about now) the way they categorise their books. *swoon* - by country, including travel books AND novels based in that place. I always get into holiday mode by reading a good story set abroad - Lonely Planet move aside, you're not wanted here!

| 2. Having a mini-celebration whilst being pushed along in the underground commuter traffic when my boyfriend told me he'd gotten a job. Ensue restrained wooping and a happy-dance whilst being shoved underneath someone's armpit.

| 3. Having a strange sense of deja-vu when walking into 'Bounce' - a bar that houses dozens of ping pong tables - which I could have sworn was due to my being there before, but then realising it's because I have simply watched too much 'Made in Chelsea' recently.

| 4. Ordering a fancy cocktail in a Cuban themed bar and having it delivered in the cutest little vintage teacup, which makes everything taste better in my opinion.

| 5. Tempting a cat into our cabin with the help of milk and Waitrose ham - wasted on a kitty in some people's opinion, but fully deserved in mine.

What were your happy things this week? I love hearing them!

  2. Aw congratulations to your boyfriend, I love reading your happy things! A happy thing for me was finding a Kurt Geiger bag I have been absolutely loving in T.K.Maxx much cheaper than the one I had been refraining from buying - I treated myself straight away!!

TX Maxx finds are always more rewarding after the hours taken sorting through the fleece onesies and puffer jackets! Well done you!
